Touring represents another important aspect of Operomanija’s activities. Foreign tours of the performances produced by the organisation encompass participation at contemporary art festivals, as well as extended international tours. By initiating and presenting diverse genres and styles, Operomanija participates at contemporary performing art, opera, music and sound art festivals and various international projects.
Touring geography extends throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States of America. Works produced by Operomanija have been presented at the Shanghai International Contemporary Theatre Festival (ACT), Prototype contemporary musical theatre and new opera festival in New York, Golden Mask theatre festival in Moscow, as well as numerous festivals in Great Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Georgia, Ukraine, Latvia, and Estonia.
Performances are presented in diverse venues ranging from the usual concert halls, black box spaces or galleries to the scene of teatro all‘italiana, an unexpected venue for contemporary music theatre production, or actively operating churches that are usually closed for contemporary opera.
